Moschino Eyewear 2020 Campaign

3 min read January 23, 2021 Ashley Miller

Italian artist and designer Franco Moschino is one of the brightest and most eccentric fashion designers of modernity, who urged to treat fashion with humor and irony. Wit, mischief, colorfulness, originality, outrageousness, provocation – all these qualities are present in any creation of a couturier who has broken stereotypes and common cliches about fashion.

Franco showed interest in art from childhood. In parallel with his studies at the Milan Academy of Fine Arts, he moonlighted as a fashion illustrator, and very soon the world of fashion completely engulfs him. After graduating from the Academy, Moschino chose the fashion industry as the new arena for his development. Fashion became the huge canvas for his creations – that was the place where his talent as an artist and fashion designer merged together. Many of his future creations under the brand name can really be perceived like artistic canvases.

The artist’s striking works were noticed by Gianni Versace and Moschino was hired to the legendary house, after which, having gained experience, the charismatic Italian craftsman opened his own brand.
Moschino’s collections could not be confused with the works of other designers – there were so much irony, kitsch, comic, absurdity, and grotesque in them. The provocative style of the designer, the expression of his fashion shows, bright pop-up images, and a cheerful approach to fashion as a tool that helps to emphasize disagreement with social standards- all this created hype around Moschino, making him more and more popular.

Moschino sunglasses and optical frames express the bold and progressive personality of the Italian brand, replete with glamor, colorfulness, and optimism. In search of extravagant, daring, and spectacular glasses, you should pay attention to the new Moschino eyewear collection presented by an advertising campaign for Autumn 2020.
The face of the campaign is Croatian fashion model Faretta, who can be noticed on the covers of the most famous fashion magazines.
Posing on the streets of Milan, the model shows off fashionable frames that range from cat-eye silhouettes to rectangular and oval shapes.

The beauty model complements her Moschino grunge leather ensemble with gorgeous sunglasses.

Moschino’s iconic macro signature is visible on the temples of oval and cat-eye sunglasses.

The temples with the insert in the form of a thick chain look very original and chic.

Moschino eyewear collections abound in stylish shapes and unusual combinations of colors and materials, as you can see by getting to know the brand and its eyewear.
