Being a quintessence of British theme the eyewear brand William Morris London may well claim the title of “the most English brand”. The brand was created in 1996 by Robert William Morris with the thought to provide designer glasses to every audience, offering superb original designs which continually evolve. The embodiment of English elegance and conciseness for almost a quarter of century, William Morris is known as not dictated by trends or fashions but having its individual look and its own distinguished stamp.

Brand’s creations are timeless and on-trend, with contrasting combinations of color and oversized structured styles which symbolize British eyewear.
The independent brand uses the finest materials such as color rich acetates in combination with brass and silver accents highlighting the brand’s monogram.

Black label, London and Charles stone are the three main and constantly updated collections produced in the UK and Japan.

The one of the recent noteworthy events for the eyewear world was the collaboration of William Morris London with William Morris Gallery which is a Victorian textile designer’s gallery where artefacts from the famous artist, designer, writer and socialist are kept. It is maybe a little confusing because the eyewear brand and the Gallery share the same name. The Gallery was named after William Morris – the artist who created some very iconic prints that are still very popular now.

The Gallery collection comprises twelve modern eyeglass frames featuring William Morris prints designed between 1880 and 1905.

Every piece is very elegant with the prints of William Morris on the temples which reflect the artist’s love for nature and floral patterns.
Each frame is a refined combination of metal with a hint of acetate.
A truly beautiful and elegant collection is an excellent gift for wearers of eyeglasses who love color and unique design.

Each pair of eyeglasses is sold with a magnetic flat-folding case with a distinctive glorious print.
