This year we have an amazing opportunity to meet the capsule collection of eyewear created in a partnership of two astonishing German brands ic! Berlin and Mercedes-Benz.

The two trendsetters from different spheres got together to create the fashion-forward design. What actually do they have in common? If its comes to design philosophy creations of both brands marked by the latest innovations, high performance and perfectionism to the most tiniest detail.
The inspiration for new joint special series of German sunglasses lies in the progressive design philosophy of Mercedes-Benz cars, which consists in the desire to find the perfect combination of materials and shapes and to offer consumers unique products in terms of beauty and convenience. All these concepts successfully coincide with ic! Berlin fundamentals.

Berlin optical brand Ic! Berlin, which has a strong reputation as a vanguard appeared on the market in 1996. The first great professional success came to its creators in 1998, immediately after the model from the Ic collection! Berlin, made of sheet metal, was awarded the SILMO Grand Prix in the nomination “Technological innovations in spectacle optics”. Laser-cut frames made of sheet metal to this day are the hallmark of Ic! Berlin.
The exclusive series presented by two innovative brands features classical geometry and focused on technology and quality.

The collection consists of 5 models of sunglasses, four of which have several color options for lenses.

Star of the show is the MB Shield, a separate model of mono lens glasses featuring distinctive metal frame available in a single color, made of extra durable nylon optical material.

Other three sunglasses models designed for lovers of classic Mercedes are MB01, MB02, and MB03. The male oriented MB01 and MB03 feature lines in the bridge recognizable from the automobiles, while the female MB02 offers the pilot shape in a softer, rounder form.

All these models come with newly developed temple using a combination of metal and rubber and are stamped with the Mercedes-Benz star.

And for fans of AMG-charged cars – their own model of glasses AMG 01 Lamelle, featuring a sportier lens form and signature red or white color accents. AMG logo is on the left lens. These are modern square glasses made of seven-layer German spring steel with a double bridge.
