In the past century plastic became a revolutionary material and there is barely more popular material in the eyewear industry now. It is low-cost and can be easily molded and colored into all possible colors and shades. It should be mentioned, however, about some minuses of this material: it is not strong enough (especially some kind of cheap plastic), it is subject to aging, strength decrease and color fading. Yet plastic frames are still highly valuable for their lightness and hypoallergenic properties. Amazingly beautiful frames of a variety styles, textures and patterns can be made of this indispensable material!
