The choice of the shape of the glasses is a purely individual matter. Everyone has the right to decide what he likes and what does not. However, there are some practical tips to remember. The main point when choosing the shape of the glasses is the shape of the face. Be sure to take into account the classic canons. So there is an opinion that a frame that follows the shape of the face is not a very good choice, because it smooths out the wow effect and turns the face into a faceless object. Conversely, opposites work great: chubby faces are more suitable for rectangular or square frames, while square and rectangular face shapes are most organically combined with round or oval frames. The oval face shape is considered universal, most frames are suitable here. For those with a triangular face shape, it is preferable to focus on rectangular frames.

Having decided on the shape and model of the glasses, it remains to choose the right size so that the glasses do not cause discomfort when wearing. In most cases, you will find frame parameters on the inside of the left temple. They consist of three numbers, separated by dashes or dots. The first number in this chain, for example, 49, is the lens width, followed by the nose bridge distance. The last number in the row is the temple length. To find out the frame size, multiply the lens width by 2 and add the nose bridge distance, adding 4-12 mm for the width of the hinge joints. Knowing the width of your face is no longer difficult to find the right frame size.
