Frame Size Guide: How To Measure Your Eyeglasses
The first number— the lens size — represents the horizontal width of the lenses. Generally, the eye size of most eyeglass frames ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm.
The second number — the bridge size — is the distance between the lenses. In other words, it's the size of the "bridge" of the frame that rests on your nose. In most cases, the bridge size of eyeglass frames ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.
The third number — the temple length — is the length of the "stems" of the frame, measured from the frame hinge to the back tip of the temple. Temple lengths generally range from 120 mm to 150 mm.
Often a small square (rather than a dash) will separate the eye size and the bridge size on the frame.

About Ray-Ban® State Street
Ray-Ban® sunglasses are an emblem of the American way of life, the transoceanic frivolity of the middle of the last century. They symbolize infinity in the land of unlimited possibilities. The first Ray-Ban glasses were created for the needs of the US Air Force. In fact, at the heart of it, all is an aerial adventure. At one time, General John McCready managed to fly across the Atlantic Ocean but complained that his vision was spoiled by sunlight. He concludes that the sun also caused the same damage to pilots during long flights.
McCready contacted Bausch & Lomb, shared his story, and so the first model of glasses with an anti-reflective coating and green lenses appeared. The first pair, officially introduced in 1936, is what we know today as the Aviator model. The Ray-Ban brand itself was registered a year later. The company released a model with thin metal frames that became popular among US Air Force pilots. Today, the optics of this brand are worn by ordinary people who value comfort and high quality.
