Frame Size Guide: How To Measure Your Eyeglasses
The first number— the lens size — represents the horizontal width of the lenses. Generally, the eye size of most eyeglass frames ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm.
The second number — the bridge size — is the distance between the lenses. In other words, it's the size of the "bridge" of the frame that rests on your nose. In most cases, the bridge size of eyeglass frames ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.
The third number — the temple length — is the length of the "stems" of the frame, measured from the frame hinge to the back tip of the temple. Temple lengths generally range from 120 mm to 150 mm.
Often a small square (rather than a dash) will separate the eye size and the bridge size on the frame.

About Ray-Ban® Hawkeye
1937 is considered the founding year of the Ray-Ban® brand, after which the famous American optics manufacturer Bausch & Lomb produced special glasses for the US Air Force. In 1999, the brand was sold to the Italian company Luxottica Group, which remains the owner to this day. The basis for the production of Ray-Ban sunglasses was a complaint by the US Air Force Command to Bausch & Lomb in 1929. All this time, the company worked on creating glasses that would protect the eyes of pilots from bright sunlight and would not prevent them from flying at high altitudes.
At the same time, the clarity of the image should remain as high as possible. These were the first glasses released in 1937 under the name "Aviator". They turned out to be so successful that the company decided to organize their serial production. Since the 1960s, Ray-Ban has expanded its line of eyewear, introducing several new styles each year. The color design of the frames was gradually improved and the quality of the lenses became better. It should also be emphasized the brand's commitment to high-quality standards, which Ray-Ban implements by using durable materials and special processing technologies. Modern Ray-Ban sunglasses are still classic, but more refined and elegant, and the Hawkey Collection is a great example of this.
