HISTORY OF LANVIN
In 1889, the story of the famous French brand Lanvin started, when Jeanne Lanvin bought a small shop in Paris where she offered clothes for women. In those times, she was sewing a lot at home, creating wonderful and delightful outfits for her relatives and daughter. Each masterpiece designed by the talented woman was noticed by people, and soon, they started to order the same children’s clothes for their kids. Being so popular among her new clients, Jeanne decided to make apparel for children, and in 1908, she introduced her first collection. Later, she creates stunning collections of women’s clothing.
In 1922, Paul Irib created the logotype of the Lanvin brand: it features a woman who is holding a hand of a small girl to symbolize Jeanne and her daughter.
