Frame Size Guide: How To Measure Your Eyeglasses
The first number— the lens size — represents the horizontal width of the lenses. Generally, the eye size of most eyeglass frames ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm.
The second number — the bridge size — is the distance between the lenses. In other words, it's the size of the "bridge" of the frame that rests on your nose. In most cases, the bridge size of eyeglass frames ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.
The third number — the temple length — is the length of the "stems" of the frame, measured from the frame hinge to the back tip of the temple. Temple lengths generally range from 120 mm to 150 mm.
Often a small square (rather than a dash) will separate the eye size and the bridge size on the frame.

In 1947, fashion designer Christian Dior defied the post-war Paris public with the first luxurious, 'terribly wasteful' and romantic collection of womenswear. In 1949, according to a poll by the French Institute for Sociological Research, Christian Dior was named one of the five most famous people in the world. After the death of Christian Dior, a number of distinguished designers headed the House of Dior.
So in 1953 young Yves Saint Laurent became the leading fashion designer. Then he was replaced by Marc Bohan in 1960. Bohan was subsequently replaced by Gianfranco Ferre in 1989 and then in October 1996, John Galliano became Dior's chief fashion designer. Today the brand belongs to the LVMH holding (Louis Vuitton-Moet Hennessy). Each frame of sunglasses or eyeglasses exudes the spirit of a famous fashion house.
