Frame Size Guide: How To Measure Your Eyeglasses
The first number— the lens size — represents the horizontal width of the lenses. Generally, the eye size of most eyeglass frames ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm.
The second number — the bridge size — is the distance between the lenses. In other words, it's the size of the "bridge" of the frame that rests on your nose. In most cases, the bridge size of eyeglass frames ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.
The third number — the temple length — is the length of the "stems" of the frame, measured from the frame hinge to the back tip of the temple. Temple lengths generally range from 120 mm to 150 mm.
Often a small square (rather than a dash) will separate the eye size and the bridge size on the frame.

About
Missoni is one of the world's leading fashion brands related to the aesthetic innovation and new spinning techniques. The family-run business was founded in 1953 by Ottavio and Rosita on the day of their wedding. The first Missoni collection was introduced to the public in 1958 in Milan. In the mid-sixties, Rosita met a French fashion designer Emmanuelle Khanh during her trip to New York, and they started a collaboration that would lead to a new collection.
In 1967, Missoni held its haute-couture catwalk show at the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, the major fashion stage at the time. Rosita told the models to remove their underwear, which accidentally caused a minor scandal due to the clearly transparent knitwear under the catwalk lights.
After the last fashion show, Missoni left Florence and moved to Milan. And that's exactly when the Missoni name became globally recognized. 1970 was the year of the style invasion called by the Americans as “put-together”. Since that time, the mix of stitches, textures and patterns has become the brand's signature style and revolutionized the world of fashion. Missoni's first eyewear collections were introduced in the mid-seventies and combined geometric shapes and streaked lines in metal and acetate frames. Soon after that, Missoni glasses became a must in Italy as well as in the rest of the world.
