The Burberry spring/summer collection, designed by Riccardo Tisci for the English fashion house, is called Evolution.
The designer continued studying the brand’s archives and the previously iconic and recognizable Burberry motives were redesigned and interpreted in a modern way. On the runway, traditional trench coats alternated with modernized versions of this outerwear. In addition to the well-known checkered pattern, images of gray and beige monochrome appeared.
This seasonal collection of eyewear is a harmonious blend of modern flair and timeless silhouettes re-interpreted by designers. Evolution, is a reflection of new house codes influenced by the time Burberry was founded – the Victorian era.
The B Series includes bio-acetate Blake model, named after the British Romantic poet and artist, William Blake; square sunglasses with a ‘B’ detail and oversized sunglasses with a polished Monogram motif. The collection was not complete without the Aviator model, as well as the famous checkered print that adorns the temples of one of the models. The colour palette includes silver, gold, pink, classic tortoiseshell, black and grey.
